أخطاء شائعة

• ✗خطأ: Could you tell me where is the station?

  ✓صحيح: Could you tell me where the station is?

  داخل السؤال غير المباشر يسبق الفاعلُ الفعلَ.

• ✗خطأ: Do you know what time does it open?

  ✓صحيح: Do you know what time it opens?

  تختفي does ويأخذ الفعل لاحقته الخاصة.

• ✗خطأ: Do you know is the shop open?

  ✓صحيح: Do you know if the shop is open?

  بلا أداة استفهام تربط if أو whether النصفين.
