أخطاء شائعة

• ✗خطأ: Could you tell me where is the office?

  ✓صحيح: Could you tell me where the office is?

  السؤال المضمَّن يأخذ ترتيب الخبر.

• ✗خطأ: I wonder if to appeal.

  ✓صحيح: I wonder whether to appeal.

  لا تقع قبل to إلا whether.

• ✗خطأ: Do you know what does it cost?

  ✓صحيح: Do you know what it costs?

  الجملة المضمَّنة تُسقط do.
