Veelgemaakte fouten

• ✗Fout: By March we will finish the work.

  By plus een toekomstige datum vraagt de future perfect: af vóór dat moment.

• ✗Fout: Next year I will live here for ten years.

  ✓Goed: Next year I will have been living here for ten years.

  Een tijdsduur gemeten tot een punt in de toekomst krijgt de future perfect continuous.

• ✗Fout: This time tomorrow I will fly to Rome.

  ✓Goed: This time tomorrow I will be flying to Rome.

  Op een genoemd toekomstig moment: will + be + -ing voor wat dan bezig is.
