أفعال ماضية شاذّة

القاعدة

أكثر الأفعال الإنجليزية استعمالًا لا تأخذ -ed، بل يكون ماضيها كلمة أخرى بلا قاعدة، وتُحفظ واحدًا واحدًا: go → went, have → had, do → did, say → said, get → got, make → made, take → took, come → came, see → saw, know → knew.

أمثلة

  1. I went to the market on Saturday.

    ذهبت إلى السوق يوم السبت.

  2. She had a bad cold last week.

    أصيبت بزكام شديد الأسبوع الماضي.

  3. We took the early train.

    أخذنا القطار المبكر.

  4. He left his bag on the bus.

    ترك حقيبته في الباص.

أخطاء شائعة

  • خطأ: I goed to the shop.

    صحيح: I went to the shop.

    الفعل go شاذّ وماضيه went.

  • خطأ: She taked my number.

    صحيح: She took my number.

    الفعل take شاذّ وماضيه took.
