أخطاء شائعة

• ✗خطأ: It is more cheaper than the other one.

  ✓صحيح: It is cheaper than the other one.

  تُصاغ صيغة المقارنة مرة واحدة لا مرتين.

• ✗خطأ: The more you wait, worse it gets.

  ✓صحيح: The longer you wait, the worse it gets.

  المقارنة المزدوجة تحتاج the في الشقّين.

• ✗خطأ: It is not nearly as bad than they said.

  ✓صحيح: It is not nearly as bad as they said.

  as … as تأخذ as لا than.
