أخطاء شائعة

• ✗خطأ: I will call you when I will get home.

  ✓صحيح: I will call you when I get home.

  بعد when يبقى الفعل في المضارع مهما كان المعنى مستقبليًا.

• ✗خطأ: We will wait until the rain will stop.

  ✓صحيح: We will wait until the rain stops.

  until تتصرف تمامًا مثل when.

• ✗خطأ: When will you arrive, call me.

  ✓صحيح: When you arrive, call me.

  جملة الزمن ليست سؤالًا فلا ينقلب ترتيب الكلمات فيها.
