أخطاء شائعة

• ✗خطأ: If I would have more money, I would travel.

  ✓صحيح: If I had more money, I would travel.

  would تأتي في نصف النتيجة فقط ولا تأتي بعد if أبدًا.

• ✗خطأ: If I was you, I would complain.

  ✓صحيح: If I were you, I would complain.

  صيغة النصيحة الثابتة تستخدم were مع كل الضمائر.

• ✗خطأ: If she had a car, she will drive there.

  ✓صحيح: If she had a car, she would drive there.

  الموقف المتخيَّل يأخذ would لا will.
