The rule

There is no "is" between the noun and the description. 좋다 conjugates exactly like 가다 and ends the sentence by itself: 날씨가 좋아요 is literally "the weather goods". So never write 날씨가 좋은 이에요 — the adjective already carries the verb.

Pattern

명사 + 이/가 + 형용사 + 아요 / 어요

Examples

  1. 날씨가 좋아요.

    The weather is nice.

  2. 이 가방이 비싸요.

    This bag is expensive.

  3. 한국어가 재미있어요.

    Korean is fun.
