As much as: tanto, igual de, el mismo
The rule
A1 taught tan + adjective + como. When the comparison is about a QUANTITY, Spanish uses tanto, which agrees with the noun: tanto dinero como, tanta gente como, tantos años como, tantas veces como. After a verb it stays tanto: no trabajo tanto como tú. In speech igual de + adjective + que is very common: es igual de caro que el otro. And for "the same", el mismo, la misma, los mismos, las mismas + noun + que: tengo el mismo móvil que tú.

No tengo tanto tiempo como antes.
I don't have as much time as before.
Mi piso es igual de grande que el tuyo.
My flat is just as big as yours.
Trabajamos en la misma empresa que tu hermano.
We work at the same company as your brother.

tan rápido como / tanto dinero como
tan goes with an adjective or adverb; tanto with a noun or a verb.
