أخطاء شائعة

  بعد الافتتاح النافي يتقدّم الفعل المساعد على الفاعل.

• ✗خطأ: No sooner we had left when it started.

  ✓صحيح: No sooner had we left than it started.

  no sooner تقلب وتقترن بـ than لا when.

• ✗خطأ: Only when the survey came back we understood.

  ✓صحيح: Only when the survey came back did we understand.

  يقع القلب على الجملة الرئيسة لا على جملة only when.
