أخطاء شائعة

• ✗خطأ: It was the survey which changed our minds it.

  ✓صحيح: It was the survey that changed our minds.

  الصيغة تتضمن المفعول أصلًا فلا ضمير زائد.

• ✗خطأ: What I want is to get a written answer is.

  ✓صحيح: What I want is a written answer.

  فعل is واحد يربط الشقّين لا اثنان.

• ✗خطأ: The reason is because nobody knew.

  ✓صحيح: The reason is that nobody knew.

  The reason is تأخذ that لا because.
