   لا أستطيع تحمّل الضجيج شتاءً آخر.

   على أحدهم متابعة الأوراق أثناء غيابها.

4. The meeting broke up without a decision.

   انفضّ الاجتماع دون قرار.

أخطاء شائعة

• ✗خطأ: They turned down it.

  ✓صحيح: They turned it down.

  الضمير المفعول يجب أن يقع داخل الفعل المركّب القابل للفصل.

• ✗خطأ: I will look the children after.

  ✓صحيح: I will look after the children.

  look after غير قابل للفصل.

• ✗خطأ: I cannot put the noise up with.

  ✓صحيح: I cannot put up with the noise.

  الأفعال الثلاثية لا تُفصل أبدًا.
