  في صيغة التسبيب يتقدّم المفعول على التصريف الثالث.

• ✗خطأ: I got him do it.

  ✓صحيح: I got him to do it.

  get + شخص تأخذ to بخلاف have + شخص.

• ✗خطأ: We had stolen our car.

  ✓صحيح: We had our car stolen.

  ترتيب الكلمات يحدد أأنت الضحية أم السارق.
