• ✗خطأ: I will never forget to see the sea for the first time.

  ✓صحيح: I will never forget seeing the sea for the first time.

  الذكرى تأخذ -ing والواجب يأخذ to.

• ✗خطأ: We regret telling you that the post is filled.

  ✓صحيح: We regret to inform you that the post is filled.

  regret to inform تقدّم خبرًا سيئًا، وregret -ing ندم على ما مضى.
